FAQs

I am sure you have plenty of questions for us. We may well have covered some of them below but please do get in touch if there is anything that we haven’t. We are here to help.

Can you cover both bride and groom preparations?

Additional photographers are available for £250 to cover the preparations. If you are both getting ready at the same venue it maybe possible to cover both without the need of the additional.

What formal photos do you take?

Everything… We get it all!
We request that group photos are kept to a maximum of 10, should you wish to have more please allocated the extra time within your schedule with your wedding coordinator prior to the wedding date.

How long do you stay for?

Unless otherwise requested we will start from preparations (2 hours prior to the ceremony start time) up until the evening party. Leaving after the first dance is not us, Afterall it’s not called the last dance for a reason.

What if we run late?

No wedding runs exactly on time and delays do happen. You don’t need to worry about me disappearing, I always confirm there are no more photographs you would like me to take before I leave.

How many photographs will I get?

On average we provide 400-700 photos from all full day wedding bookings.

What happens if you are ill on the day?

We would literally have to be on my deathbeds to not be at your wedding, but rest assured we do have a network of contacts who will take my place if needed. It is our responsibility to provide you with an equal quality photographer or videographer in the event of any of us becoming ill. We are also fully insured, so we get the bill.

Do you need feeding?

Yes please! If we are there all day It is request a hot meal provided, I have no food allergies and will eat anything put in front of me! However, if this is not possible please note we will have to leave site for an hour and at some venue locations longer. We can’t be held responsible should we miss anything that happens during such time.

Can I do my own prints?

Yes, for anything A4 or smaller boots or alike is fine, anything above this size we encourage you to use a lab printing service to maximise the professional quality. After all you wouldn’t buy a pair of Jimmy Choo’s and then keep them in a Clarkes box.
All online galleries have a lab printing service attached for your connivance.

How many images are in the Storybook?

It depends on the design, but a general average is 3-4 images per page. To give you an idea a 30-page Wedding Album will include approximately 60-80 images.

How do we book?

First step is to organise a time with Andy at his office in Upminster or arrange a zoom online meeting to discuss your wedding in more detail. The next step is signing the contact and paying the booking fee.

What and when do we pay?

Only a £250 booking fee secures your wedding date and the remaining balance is due 4 weeks before the wedding. You may also spread the cost leading up to the wedding if you wish.

How long does it take to edit the photos and video?

Depending on the time of year photo edits can take between 2-8 weeks and video edits can take between 4-12 weeks.

What if your camera breaks on day?

Don’t worry, I buy cameras like a lady does shoes… many and often.
Everyone carries a full replica backup kit, we even bring a change of outfit. Now that’s organised.

How far in advance should I book?

Wedding photographers are booked years in advance, I always recommended you book as soon as possible. Remember, get who you want not who is left.

Will the photos be in colour or black and white?

We shoot in colour and edit the ones we think will benefit from a black and white edit, so you’ll have a mix. If you want any images in black and white or colour let me know the file number and I’ll happily convert them for you.

What if you haven’t photographed the venue before?

Yay, I love new venues, and this is a positive not a negative. Fresh eyes and outlook on a venue can spot things others can no longer see due to going in to “Auto Pilot” mode, plus you don’t want the same photos as last week’s wedding.

What do you wear?

Always smart, Afterall it’s a wedding. Plus guests will take their own photos that you will also cherish, you don’t want a scruffy photographer in the background.

Where are you based?

Andy is currently based in Brentwood, Essex. However we do have a new office being built that will be located in between Upminster & Hornchurch, Essex.
